Picker Packer

About this position

Gojob is hiring bilingual Picker/Packer for a logistics warehouse located in Terrell, TX. You will be responsible for picking and packing orders. As a Gojobber, you will enjoy weekly pay, excellent communication from recruiters, the opportunity to build a career, and more! Shift & Pay: - 1st Shift: Mon-Fri, 8am - 4:30pm - $13/hr

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Prepare outgoing orders / shipping documents and waybills - Ensure that proper packing materials are used for each product being produced - Visually Inspect and sort defective product - Ensure that correct amount of product is placed into every package - Make and lift boxes - Operate handheld scanner, pen pad, and operate scale accurately - Build and wrap pallets - Support your team members with questions and requests - Understand and strive to hit your expected target metrics and ask for support to help you get there - Keep spaces organized and clean at all times - Keep safety at top of mind; follow all safety procedures and bring up safety concerns as they arise - Communicate clearly and candidly

Requirements & Benefits

- Basic math skills and English skills (must be able to read English) - Must be able to pass a background check including E-verify - Warehouse experience is nice to have - Must be able to lift up to 60lbs - Ability to communicate with management. - Must be able to stand all of the day - Must be able to twist at waist level with moderate waist level bending - Must understand and follow verbal and written directions - Must be very detailed and organized - Must have a great attitude and desire to work hard and be part of a good team - Proposes creative solutions to tough problems - Ensures a high level of detail and quality to all work tasks At Gojob, we celebrate workplace diversity.
