Reach Forklift Driver

About this position

Gojob is hiring a Forklift Driver in McDonough, GA for a global logistics company. Reach lift experience required, but ability to operate various forklifts preferred (reach, dock stocker, electric pallet jack, and pacer). Jungheinrich Forklift experience strongly preferred. Pay rate: $18.75 - $19.25 / hr Shifts: 1st Shift: 5am-3:30pm, Mon-Thu 2nd Shift: 2pm-2:30am, Mon-Thu Weekend: 5am - 5:30pm, Fri-Sat

Tasks & Responsibilities

Responsibilities: - Pick inventory, count cargo, product and material and hand stage and load goods - Use of manual equipment such as hand truck or pallet jack. - Prepare and assemble orders, move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage - Manage sorting and placement of materials or items on racks, shelves, pallets or in bins - Complete or verify appropriate forms, documents, labels and other information to ensure the accuracy of inventory - Monitor and track material and successful receiving and/or delivery of goods - Operate hand tools to close or open bales, build or tear down crates, and other containers or material - Develop and provide excellent customer service

Requirements & Benefits

Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED - Forklift Certification within 3 to 6 months of hire if required - Valid state issued driver’s license preferred - Capable of operating hand and power tools and performing manual tasks - Basic proficiency in operating a computer - Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs - Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents At Gojob, we celebrate workplace diversity.
