Tasks & Responsibilities

nvestigate automobile insurance claims to determine coverage, liability and the extent of Alfa’s liability and damages owed under policy contracts for complex coverage, liability and injury claims.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Education: College degree or commensurate work experience required. Experience: Minimum of 2-year handling injury claims. Medical Terminology aptitude. General office skills to include typing, faxing, copying and basic computer skills. Must have strong adjusting and negotiation skills. Knowledge: Must have demonstrated competence as a Sr. Claims Adjuster. Excellent oral and written communication skills to quickly build rapport. Excellent organization and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Best Practices and processes. Effective team player. Must be well versed in tort laws for all states we do business in as well as expertise with the Department of Insurance regulations and their Fair Claims Practice Act. Compliance to both State and Federal Regulations.
