Tasks & Responsibilities

**Responsibilities:** - Take statements from insureds, claimants, and witnesses - Obtain and review evidence, reports, and medical records - Investigate losses and identify coverage issues - Negotiate settlements with claimants and claimant’s attorneys - Evaluate policy coverage, contact insureds, claimants, attorneys, body shops while determining and establishing reserve requirements - Demonstrates a high level of investigation, analysis, evaluation, and negotiation including interpretation of coverages

Requirements

**Requirements:** - **Education:** High School Diploma required, College degree preferred - **Experience:** 1 year or more of experience (non-standard or standard) in auto claims handling preferred. - **Location:**Must reside in Nashville area - **Skills:** Microsoft Word, Excel Windows 95 or above, Microsoft Access, AS400 system and Internet browsing, typing 30 wpm, and good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. - **Knowledge:** Automobile insurance, including good phone skills and accurate typing.
