Forklift Operator (Sit Down/Clamp)

About this position

**Must have at least 1 or more years of experience as a sit down and clamp forklift operator.** Gojob is hiring a **Sit down/Clamp Operator** for a leading logistics warehouse located in **Port Wentworth, GA**. Tasks & Responsibilities

**Responsibilities:** - Receive and put away inventory. - Load boxes into trucks for shipment - Use scanners to read bar codes on products. - View prompts on screens and follow the direction for some tasks. - Troubleshoot problems. - Works with Inventory control team to ensure accurate, controlled, and fully reported cycle counts. - Monitors product disposition. - Assists in physical inventories - Inspects damaged packaging for concealed damage to product and documents accordingly. - Ensure accurate inbound/outbound shipments. - Stock new inventory

Requirements

**Requirements:** - High School Diploma/GED preferred - At least 6 months forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment (must be able to get forklift certified) - Basic safety understanding in operating equipment - Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours and lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction - Able to bend, lift, stretch and reach below the waist/above the head - Able to walk the distribution center with great frequency - Able to work with variable noise levels, temperature, and lighting - Attention to detail, excellent customer service, and basic math skills - Able to complete inspection form prior to operating equipment - Able to use RF scanning equipment - Must Be able to pass a background screen and drug screen At Gojob, we celebrate workplace diversity.
