Warehouse Worker

About this position

The warehouse worker position is an experienced warehouse worker. Must be proficient in the basic and advanced functions of distribution center operations including: Ability to walk 5-10 miles per shift Proficient in Picking, Shipping, Production, Receiving, Processing and put-away. Willconduct their duties in a safe manner, communicate and cooperate with peers and leadership in a professional manner. Workers must meet all sets standards for attendance, teamwork/cooperation/professionalism, and willingness to help create and maintain a clean warehouse environment. Workers are expected to communicate professionally and courteously with co-workers and supervision. They should provide feedback on successes, barriers, and ideas for improvement. They should communicate all valid safety concerns. Pay Scale: $18.50/hr 10 hours x 4 days 1st Shift 7am-5pm

Tasks & Responsibilities

Workers will be highly productive in their assigned function and meet established DC standards in the following areas of DC Operation, depending on their assigned role: Picking, Production, Shipping, Receiving and Returns. All of these functions will include use of the warehouse scanner, workstations and terminals, and Microsoft Work. Workers will execute their daily tasks in a high-quality manner so as to ensure inventory accuracy throughout every process in the distribution center. They will meet or exceed inventory accuracy standards. Associates will perform all duties within established safety standards.

Requirements

US HS Diploma or GED REQUIRED Detail oriented and organized Case pick experience Walking cart and walkie ryder pick experience Composite Toe footwear required
