Forklift Operator - Weekly Pay

About this position

**Must have 3 months previous experience operating sit-down, propane forklift (Uni Carrier Brand), electric double pallet jack (Crown Brand), electric reach truck and cherry picker (Crown Brand)** Gojob is hiring a **Forklift Driver** for a global logistics warehouse located in **Bolingbrook, IL**. Tasks & Responsibilities

**Responsibilities:** - Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas using a forklift, clamp, push-pull equipment. - Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations - Moves product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers - Pulls and prepares products for shipment and ensures exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped - Performs picking duties in an efficient manner meeting customer service standards - Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner and reports safety concerns to management - Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security - Assists in physical inventories, ensures proper stock rotation, and conducts cycle counts as requested - Report inventory discrepancies to inventory control team and assists in resolution

Requirements

**Qualifications:** - High School Diploma/GED preferred - At least 3 months forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment - Must be able to use RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory. - Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours and lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction. - Must have Excel knowledge plus general computer knowledge. - Able to regularly bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head. - Able to walk in the distribution center and around area with great frequency, facilities are over a quarter mile in length. - Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation - Available to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed - Must be able to get forklift certified with **NO TRAINING AVAILABLE** - Must have attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and basic math skills At Gojob, we celebrate workplace diversity.
