Warehouse Packer

About this position

Gojob is hiring Warehouse Packers for a global logistics warehouse located in Southaven, MS. You will be responsible for preparing packages for shipping. As a Gojobber, you will enjoy weekly pay, excellent communication from recruiters, the opportunity to build a career, and more. Shifts & Pay: - Weekend: Fri, Sat-Sun, Mon, 7am - 5pm - $17.50/hr

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Inspect, weigh, and label packages; ensure they are free of damage - Assemble daily orders by shipping location or any other shipping categories - Fill out packing and order forms; seal and label shipping containers - Use material handling equipment - Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations - Work overtime and weekends as needed

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent - Must be a U.S.citizen - 1 year of recent experience in a warehousing or distribution environment - Can lift up to 50 pounds - Can add and subtract and count by ones, fives, and tens unaided - Can walk or stand for extended periods of time while wearing steel-toe or composite-toe shoes in a non-climate-controlled environment - Can read and comprehend English unaided At Gojob, we celebrate workplace diversity.
