Punch Press Operator (Stamp)

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Continuously perform visual inspections for product quality. - Place any products on hold if poor quality is suspected. - Monitor die operations while die is running, fill out required paperwork/labels, and operate feed controls, press controls, and load monitors. - Know how to band up and remove a coil of material from de-reeler and how and when to rake slugs. - Must be able to follow clean up procedures, and maintain a clean work area. - Follow procedures for dealing with completed parts (e.g. use small bins for initial collection of parts until quality is checked - then place checked parts into larger container).
