Lead Bulk Mail Sort (Bi-Lingual, Spanish)

About this position

This position is responsible for supervising small package sort and sort activities. This role is accountable for ensuring packages are sorted accurately, put in the correct shipping box and loaded onto the trailer. The role will be responsible for training and assisting with leading all positions within the facility such as unloaders and sorters. May assist with analyzing load forecast volume projections to ensure adequate staffing, and reviews daily operational reports to manage productivity and performance. Collaborates with hub and feeder management to plan peak season and special sort activities.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Responsibilities: Communicates across functions to ensure the daily goals are attained. Supports staffing and pre-sort plans. Will be required to also perform the functions of the operations as needed. Trains staff on all functions within the operations and identify where additional training or cross training may be needed. Ensures packages are sorted correctly. Provides positive feedback and support in order to build a strong culture

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred Legal, regulatory, and safety compliance knowledge - Preferred Understanding of policies and procedures to situations and operations in a business environment - Preferred Supervises and uses details, facts, and information to thoroughly and accurately plan and complete work Bi-Lingual speaks, reads, writes English and Spanish fluently
